Between Darlington and Durham in County Durham, in northern England, lies the small village of Rushyford in the borough of Sedgefield. This small village is situated on the old Great North Road, just a few minutes drive from the city of Durham and three miles north of Newton Aycliffe. The Rushyford Roundabout is where the A689 meets the A167 then shortly becomes the A1(M) at junction 60.
