Ravenscourt Park is a suburban district surrounding the park of the same name in west London. The 32-acre park and its adjacent streets form a conservation area. These were all once part of the estate of a medieval manor house, and the lake which exists in the park today survives from the moat that encircled the mansion in the 1200s. The house was rebuilt in1650, but all that remains of it now is the stable block, where visitors may enjoy refreshments. There are many mature trees in the park as well as children's play areas, tennis courts, a bowling green and a pitch and putt course, but it's particularly famous for its Guy Fawkes Night celebrations, staging the most spectacular and popular firework displays in west London.
