Penn is a picturesque village positioned on the beautiful Chiltern Hills in the county of Buckinghamshire, home to over three thousand seven hundred people. The village dates back many centuries a legacy of which may be seen with the charming cottages and houses throughout, and the 12th Century church of Holy Trinity which houses a rare Medieval Doom painting that was painted onto oak panels. Penn was renowned for its floor tile production back in the 14th Century and was also the birthplace of Quaker William Penn, who set up the colony of Pennsylvania in the USA, more recently it has played host to the filming of Midsomer Murders television production.
