Onich is a small village in the Highlands of Scotland situated eight miles south of Fort William and midway between Glencoe and Ben Nevis; the highest mountain in the UK. Onich is a picturesque village with the mountains of Glencoe to the east and the Isle of Mull to the West. The remote village is set on the east shore of Loch Linnhe, amongst beautiful wooded countryside abundant with wildlife and ideal for walking, nature-watching and for a visit to the local waterfall. Onich is a tranquil base for touring the Highlands, it has a hotel, holiday-centre, sea-food café, a post-office and the petrol station and fishing facilities are available on the Loch.
