Lennoxtown is a town in east Dunbartonshire in Scotland situated on the northern edge of the Glasgow boundary by the Glazert Waters, 3 miles north of Kirkintilloch. Formerly known as Newton of Campsie, Lennoxtown developed during the 18th century with the Lennox Corn Mill, cotton, calico printing, limestone and coal mining industries.
