In-between Hemel Hempstead and Watford, near the M25 viaduct across the River Gade valley and on the edge of the Chiltern Hills is the village of Kings Langley. The village boasts a phenomenal history, from Roman settlement origins to being the site of a fourteenth century palace used by the Plantagenet kings of England, hence the name Kings and incredible transport connections. Also, The Rudolf Steiner School opened in 1949 and is one of the longest-established Steiner Waldorf schools in the UK.
