Holloway is a busy urban area of north London, currently in the process of regeneration. Once its best-known building was the women's prison, Britain's largest, where former inmates have included Ruth Ellis and Emmeline, Sylvia and Christabel Pankhurst. Now Holloway is more famous for its £390 million Emirates Stadium, the home of Arsenal FC and the third-biggest stadium in London, after Wembley and Twickenham. Opened in 2006, the stadium includes a museum detailing the history of the football club.
