The town of Henley in Arden is to be found in the county of Warwickshire surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK. Originally a settlement dating back to Anglo Saxon times and the later medieval architecture is still apparent today in a number of its buildings, the High Street is around a mile long and is deemed a Conservation Area with over 150 buildings being deemed as being of Special Architectural and Historic Interest. Arguably the oldest building is Joseph Hardy House (the Heritage Centre) which archaeologists consider dates from around 1345, whilst the town also boasts two churches, the Church of St Nicholas, in part dating from Norman times and the church of St John the Baptist dating from around 1448.
