Heacham is an attractive coastal village positioned in North West Norfolk in the ancient county of East Anglia, and is home to just under five thousand people. Its intriguing history dates back to the Anglo Saxons who first settled here, although the area saw Stone Age and Roman Invaders close by. It's surrounded by beautiful countryside with rich dark soil producing lavender and poppies in profusion, and there are two sandy beaches to enjoy. From a small agricultural settlement the village grew and thrived with the coming of the railways, which, in its turn brought Victorian holidaymakers in great numbers.
