Forres is an ancient town on the Moray coast in the north of Scotland, situated between Nairn and Elgin, 30 miles east of Inverness. Forres is one of Scotland’s oldest towns, steeped in history, thought to be shown as ‘Varris’ on maps dating back 2000 years.
