The village of Crudwell lies along the A429 between Malmesbury and Cirencester. Parts of the church date back beyond Norman times and the village even has its own peerage, being the seat of the Wiltshire estate of Baron Lucas of Crudwell. This wonderful church is enough to warrant a stop by any traveller along this road. The Parish Church of All Saints contains a very rare Seven Sacrament window, considered one of the finest in England. The church has a rich history, it was connected with the great Benedictine Abbey of Malmesbury from the 7th century to the Reformation.
