Cheam is a large village only twelve miles from the centre of London, once famed for it’s pottery during the Middle Ages, now home to just over nine and a half thousand people. The impressive Whitehall, built in the 16th Century, stands in the centre of the village, with 500 years of living history on display, including Medieval pottery and even a Victorian Schoolmasters Study, outside the delightful gardens have a Medieval well that completes this enchanting experience. For a relaxing stroll there is Non Such Park with links into history, or there is always Cheam Park if a game of Crazy Golf or Tennis is wished for.
