Calstock is a pretty Cornish village on the banks of the River Tamar in South East Cornwall positioned in the very heart of the Tamar Valley, nudging the borders of Devon the narrow winding streets are lined with attractive houses and cottages that rise gently up the hills overlooking the river where the Ferry sails to the Tudor splendour of Cotehele House. Calstock dates far back into history to Saxon times and beyond, with both the Romans and Saxons leaving their mark, from small beginnings to the Mining boom in the 19th Century where Copper, Tin and Silver was expertly extracted the legacy of which can still be seen today.
