Burntisland is a costal resort and former Royal Burgh on the Firth of Forth in Fife. It boasts historical attractions and a High Street with a variety of stores and supermarkets. Burntisland owes it existence to an impressive natural harbour and it is known for its beautiful sandy ‘Blue Flag’ beach. A landmark on the fife coastline is Binn Hill, part of an old volcano it rises 193m above sea level to the north of Burntisland. From the top you see panoramic views across the forth to Inchkeith Island and over to Edinburgh.
