Beadnell is located midway between Holy Island and Alnmouth on the north east coast of Northumberland, an area designated as a heritage Coastline and is a popular holiday destination consisting of Beadnell Harbour, old Beadnell village and Beadnell Haven. The harbour was built in the eighteenth century, along with the limekilns and are now protected by the National trust. Bronze Age burial chambers have been discovered along the shore and east of the harbour, at ebb’s Neuk Point, lie the ruins of a thirteenth century chapel.
