Ballindalloch is a town in Moray, in Aberdeenshire, in the north-east of Scotland, situated between Dufftown and Grantown-on-Spey, 29 miles north-east of Aviemore, Ballindalloch sits on the junction where the River Avon meets the River Spey in the heart of Speyside. Ballindalloch is home to world famous whiskey distilleries, producing famous whiskeys including Glenfiddich, Glenlivet and Glenfarclas. The area contains several Clava Cairns at Lagmore west and Marionburgh and St Peters Church contains Pictish symbol stones indicating the area was inhabited by ancient settlements.
