Auldearn is an historic village near the River Nairn, in the Highlands of Scotland, home to over five hundred and thirty people. Surrounded by dramatic Highland countryside, that walkers and artists adore with the views over the Moray Firth. For a link with the past why not take a look at the site of the Battle of Auldearn, where a bloody battle was bravely fought in 1645. Museum lovers are spoilt for choice with the Falconer Museum that has an eclectic mix of exhibits proudly on display, or the Nairn Museum which spans the pages of history with an intriguing collection.
