A traditional town house hotel established in 1842, the Best Western royal hotel is located in the center of town within easy walking distance of the business district, shops and restaurants of st. Helier. Since the two million pound refurbishment of 1998 - 2000, the Best Western royal hotel has become one of jersey's finest hotels. A fine range of bedrooms including twins, doubles, four-posters, family rooms and suites are available, all with en-suite facilities. The hotel's main restaurant, henry viii offers both a la carte and table d'hote menus, for those who prefer a more informal atmosphere, number 27 bar and brasserie is also open seven days a week serving a variety of food from snacks to three-course meals, and offers live entertainment most evenings.
