The Best Western mosborough hall hotel situated on the yorkshire/derbyshire border yet only six miles from sheffield city center, dates back in parts to the 12th century and the main building to 15th century. Full of history, henry viii's son was born there in 1524 to mary boleyn, the building commands an imposing view over the surrounding countryside. The present owner purchased the building in 1972 and after two-and-a-half years of careful restoration opened it as a hotel and restaurant in may 1974.
