A 200-year-old farmhouse set in a quiet location on the edge of the village of Thropton, this B&B has free Wi-Fi and stunning views across the River Coquet valley to the Simonside Hills. The bedrooms at Thropton Demesne Farmhouse B&B are tastefully decorated in a traditional style and have a fireplace, flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathrooms have power showers, luxurious towels, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries. In the morning, guests can enjoy a continental breakfast served in their room or if the weather is kind, in the garden. .. More Due to Covid, our communal dining room and guest lounge are not accessible to guests at the moment. There is some construction work for 3 houses and the conversion of old farm buildings taking place on adjoining land which can cause some noise, but only at normal working times. This is beyond our control but we feel guests should know of this. The ancient market town of Rothbury is just 2 miles from Thropton Demesne Farmhouse and Northumberland National Park is a 5-minute drive away. There is free parking at the property.
