Henrietta Street, on which the Comfort Inn stands, was designed between 1788 and 1792 by Sir William Pulteney and named after his daughter Henrietta Laura Pulteney. Three Georgian town houses were first converted into a Hotel in 1949. It was later sold to an organization owned by the famous entertainers Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck, who then spent a large amount of money extending and developing this fine hotel. All our bedrooms have en-suite facilities, hospitality tray, trouser press, hair dryer and direct dial telephone. Conference rooms available for 2-70 delegates. Lounge and Bar on premises. The hotel is ideal for business or pleasure. Bath is famous for it's Abbey, Roman Baths, Pump Room, Royal Crescent and the American Museum. Bath is designated as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Bath is a unique destination which offers an extraordinary historical perspective - from the Romans to the Georgians; a vibrant and cosmopolitan city with world-class restaurants and shopping, a packed yearlong cultural calendar and beautiful parks and waterways. Bath is also celebrating the opening of Europe's most spectacular spa facilities. Within easy driving distance, are some famous attractions such as Cheddar Gorge, the Cotswolds, and the awe-inspiring Stonehenge. Please note that our car park is free but has a limited number of spaces.
