Brora is a small village in east Sutherland in the Highlands of Scotland, situated on the coast of the Moray Firth. Archaeological studies uncovered ancient inhabitants with arrowheads dating from 3700BC, Pictish Towers and Hillforts dating from 8th century BC including Duchary Roch Fort situated above Loch Brora, Ben Griam Beg and Dun Creich lying south-east of Bonar Bridge. Brora is a coastal resort popular with tourists, golfers and fishers. Brora has hotels and a caravan-site and is an excellent base for exploring the area.
