About Pubs and Inns

An inn is a pub you can stay in. Simple. A pub is not necessarily an inn, but an inn is also a pub. Well, that's my understanding anyway! If I end up in an inn for the night I'll expect a room (unless of course there's no room at the inn - sorry). There are some wonderful old inns around, historic and quirky, as well as new builds with all mod cons and disabled facilities (often old inns are not very wheelchair friendly). If you do find room at the inn expect a bar and a restaurant. An inn can also be a hotel .. so use the inn search when the hotel you find isn't quite what you're looking for.
