Bohemia is situated on The Ridge, Winchelsea Beach, with clear views towards the sea. Close by is the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve which incorporates the now restored Camber Castle. Winchelsea Beach is situated in Rye Bay on an unspoiled and largely deserted section of the south coast between Rye and Hastings. The nearby beach is a Blue Flag Beach, featured in the Readers Digest Good Beach Guide. The beach is approximately 500 yds from the house. The bungalow is detached and stands in its own fenced land of approximately half an acre. Five miles to the east is the fascinating town of Rye an ancient sea port, with its pottery shops, cobbled streets and stories of smuggling from the famous Mermaid Inn.
