Whitsand Bay is a small town in South East Cornwall with a sweeping bay of miles of sandy beach backed by steep slate cliffs, it’s popular with divers and surfers, and for the fishermen amongst you there is a choice of beach or rock fishing where Conger Eels, and even Pollack may end up on the end of your line. Perhaps the shimmering silence of diving a wreck just a mile off shore, well HMS Scylla was deliberately sunk to form a barrier reef and a marine research site. A visit to the sleepy fishing village of Port Wrinkle with it’s small harbour or the Golf Club, an 18 hole cliff top course with breathtaking views over the Rame Peninsular will surely please.
