Tyndrum is a small village in Strathfillan, at the edge of Rannoch Moor, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. The village is situated on the West Highland Way; a famous footpath stretching 92 miles along the Scottish Highlands, the village is overshadowed by the Munro, Ben Lui. The name Tyndrum translates from Gaelic meaning ‘house on the ridge.’ Tyndrum is a popular tourist resort, well-known as a crossroads for travellers, the A82 road linking Glasgow and Fort William passes through Tyndrum.
