Trinity is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey and is situated on the north east of the island. It is the most rural of the parishes of Jersey and has a relatively small population for its size when compared to the other parishes. Trinity is home to the Royal Jersey Agricultural and Horticultural Society, based at the Royal Jersey Showground, the Jersey Zoo and the States Farm. Local folklore tells of the legend of The Black Dog of Bouley, a hound that would appear prior to the coming of a storm.
