Tidworth is an unusual garrison town positioned on the borders of Wiltshire and Hampshire, and is home to just over seven thousand people. It nudges the edge of Salisbury Plain, and is surrounded by a wild and dramatic landscape that spreads for miles. Originally two villages dating as far back as Neolithic times, and which also saw Bronze Age Settlers, and the building of an Iron Age Hill Fort nearby. The two villages one of which sat in the county of Wiltshire, and one in Hampshire, eventually merged, which saw the birth of the town.
