St Peter is on the Island of Jersey, which is one of the Channel Isles that are positioned close to the northwest coast of France, and it is home to just over four thousand people. Boasting two coastlines, one of which emerges onto St Ouen's Bay where the wide stretch of sand is backed by Dunes; the other is St Aubin's Bay. It has an intriguing history from the first settlers of the Bronze Age who farmed the land, and whose legacy of Cairns and Standing Stones survive today, to the time of the Second World War when the German's invaded Jersey's shores and occupied the Island from 1940 to 1945.
