Redbourne is a delightful village in northern Lincolnshire that dates as far back into history as Saxon times, and is home to just over three hundred and eighty souls. It's skirted by a patchwork of beautiful countryside and ancient woodland, and yet is only seventeen miles from the cathedral city of Lincoln. The rural setting has always lent itself to agricultural pursuits although the village was also renowned for its small priory in the 11th Century. A gentle stroll through the village will uncover an enchanting collection of attractive warm red brick houses, and elegant buildings spanning the 18th, and 19th Centuries, whilst unusual and interesting shops line the High Street enticing shoppers within.
