Nantgaredig is a quiet village set within the heart of the Towy Valley, in Carmarthenshire in Wales. The village grew and expanded when the railway arrived, and there is a mixture of houses from the 19th century to modern day. The area saw Bronze Age Settlers and Romans who lived nearby, it has a rich agricultural history and is surrounded by agricultural land and pine forests. The River Towy flows through and offers fishermen a chance to try their luck at hooking a Salmon. There are shops for the essential buy, and pubs which offer a bite to eat and a warm welcome, visitors will enjoy a gentle stroll along the river where stunning views from the Nantgaredig Bridge is rarely forgotten.
