The large Broadland village of Marsham is ideally sited as a base for exploring the north eastern quadrant of Norfolk. Sitting on the A140 Norwich to Cromer road roughly midway between those two place, Marsham is easy to access, with a choice of routes taking visitors to the wonderful Norfolk coast, many Broads villages in easy reach, and the beautifully preserved medieval city of Norwich just ten or so miles to the south. Another reason to visit the village is the Mermaid, the name of the tributary of the Bure on which the village lies.
