Marnhull is a large picturesque village positioned above the Stour River, in the County of Dorset, and is home to nearly two thousand people. This thriving village just ten miles or so from Sherborne is the largest in the county, and dates back to the Iron Age. Agriculture and quarrying for the mellow coloured stone have played an important role in its growth, together with farming as it's positioned in the stunning Blackmore Vale renowned for its rich meadows, and pasture where Dairy herds graze. Visitors will uncover a small array of shops for that everyday purchase, and a choice of interesting places to stay.
