Llanfairfechan is a sedate and unspoilt seaside town situated between the city of Bangor and Llandudno in Conwy, North Wales, home to just over three and a half thousand people. It nestles at the base of Penmaenmawr Mountain and has an interesting history from the first settlers who came here seven thousand years ago, a legacy of which can be seen after a short stroll along the track by the chapel which will unveil the remains of an ancient Iron Age Settlement. The Afon Ddu runs through the village which has terraces of houses built from local stone and whitewashed cottages dating back in time lining the roads.
