Llandegfan is an attractive village that is positioned on the Southern part of the Isle of Anglesey in Northern Wales. It sits on the banks of the Menai Straits, and is only four miles or so from the bustling city of Bangor. It has an intriguing history which reaches far back in time, its main industries across the centuries has been agriculture and weaving. At one stage it had a total of three mills; a windmill grinding flour, and two water mills servicing the many farms nearby which led to the growth of the woollen industry.
