Kinloch Rannoch is a small remote village in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, 20 miles west of Pitlochry and 20 miles north-west of Aberfeldy. It is situated at the east end of Loch Rannoch. The road heading west comes to a dead end at Rannoch station on the edge of the vast expanse of Rannoch Moor and over to the hills above Glencoe. To the south are Rannoch Forrest and the Blackwood of Rannoch. The whole area is tranquil and picturesque with spectacular views of Schiehallion to the north. The village is steeped in history and was already an established settlement by the arrival of missionary St Blane c500AD.
