Kenmore is a little village in Perth and Kinross, in the Highlands of Scotland, 6 miles west of Aberfeldy. It is situated at the east end of Loch Tay and the main gates of Taymouth Castle. The caste dates c1800 built by the Campbells of Glenorchy, it is the largest 19th century houses in the region and is currently used as a private golf club. Kenmore has a short high street, the Parish Church with elegant clock tower at one end and the arched entrance to Taymouth Castle at the other. Next to the castle stands the Kenmore Hotel, thought to be the oldest hotel in Scotland and Robert Burns is said to have stayed here in 1760.
