Glenisla is a hamlet and parish of north-west Forfarshire, 9 miles of Alyth on the left bank of the River Isla. Glenisla is the most westerly of the five Angus Glens. It is situated in the north-west corner on the southern edge of the Grampian Mountains. Glenisla is a popular tourist resort with guest accommodation in classic heritage surroundings with beautiful landscapes, heather covered slopes, steep corries, winding burns and waterfalls. The best views can be found at the top of Mount Blair the highest hill 744m above sea level.
