Dalmally is a small village in the Strath of Orchy, Argyll and Bute in Scotland. The settlement is thought to have begun c1450 to serve the historic Kilchurn Castle, built by the first Lord of Glenorchy, Sir Colin Campbell. The castle ruins stand east of the village by Loch Awe. Dalmally is a popular tourist destination surrounded by lochs, rivers, mountains and beautiful scenery, there shops and amenities, hotel and holiday accommodation, places to eat and a railway station operating on the Glasgow to Oban line.
