Conon Bridge is a small village in the Highlands of Scotland situated on the south bank of the River Conon at the western end of the Cromarty Firth. Conon Bridge is within commuting distance from the city of Inverness with Dingwall being the nearest town. In 1801 Thomas Telford built a five arched bridge in Conon Bridge of which the toll house remains although the bridge was replaced to suit the growing amount of traffic of the A9 road to the north. The village has a store, post office, hairdressing salons, a bar and a hotel.
