Ghillie's is one of a complex of four cottages that make up part of the Rannoch Lodge Estate. These are set apart in 30 acres of woodland at the heart of Loch Rannoch, benefiting from the views of the mountains and 11 miles of Loch. The cottage is homely and comfortable and offers a cosy get away from the rat race. It has amazing views of the Loch and the pine woods. There are outdoor pursuits in abundance provided by the diversity of the nearby countryside at Rannoch. The Lodge owns 1/2 mile of beach and can offer fishing facilites in the Loch without need of licence, the moors and mountains are ideal for walking and climbing. The trip from Rannoch to Mallaig has been called one of the "Great Train Journeys of the World".
