Bray is an enchanting village on the banks of the River Thames in Berkshire. Set just a couple of miles as the duck paddles from Maidenhead, and only three miles from Royal Windsor, the impressive Norman church is dedicated to St Michael and is where the Celtic Mother Goddess, Sheela-Na-Gig rests in the rafters. The Marina has colourful yachts, and the eclectic mix of timber framed and Georgian homes beckons to Celebs and top drawer residents alike. Lovers of history can step over the bridge designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, or possibly the stunning Tudor treasure of nearby Dorney Court will tempt a visit, Museum lovers should go back to school at Eton College Museum which shares an insight into school days past, for military splendour there's the Berkshire Yeomanry Museum, or maybe the Household Cavalry Museum will be top of the list.
