Bladon is an attractive village set within the picturesque countryside of the Cotswolds, in the county of Oxfordshire. It has an interesting history from Iron Age settlers, the Romans, and Winston Churchill who was born nearby at Blenheim Palace, and is buried in the village church of St Martin. From small beginings the village thrived with its glove making, and Quarrying for Limestone which was used in many of the impressive buildings in nearby historical Oxford. A stroll around the village will uncover charming cottages with mullion windows some of which date back to the 15th Century.
