The village of Berkswell in the Midlands in south Warwickshire, in between Balsall Common and Four Oaks. It can trace its history back to Anglo Saxon Times and boasts its own spring that flows into the nearby River Blythe. Complete with a village green and its local store this is a truly archetypical English country village. Home to one of the finest examples of Norman architecture in the Midlands the Church of St John the Baptist, built in red sandstone, dates back to the 12th century although it is believed that this was the site of an earlier place of worship.
