Ascog Bay is situated in a small north facing inlet on the shoreline in the middle of the historic village of Ascog, on the Isle of Bute in the Argyll and Bute district of Scotland situated 1.5 miles south-east of Rothesay; the main town on the Island. The Isle of Bute has several archaeological sites including standing stones, stone circles and a vitrified Iron Age fort; ancient finds are displayed in the Bute Museum. Ascog Bay has a beautiful beach and is surrounded by charming houses and villas.
