For those who enjoy the ambience of a quiet area with tranquil sea views, but still within walking distance to the Town Centre, Belmont is situated in an ideal location. The house overlooks the Broomfields, which affords uninterrupted views to the Isles of Cumbrae. Arran, Bute and the Kyles of Bute.
Built in 1811, the house was slightly different to the one now. In 1929 the house was sold and converted into two houses. Belmont House is the right hand side of the house and has managed to retain many of the fine features of the original house.
