Quality Hotel Royal![]() Quality Hotel Royal The Quality Hotel Hull, built in 1851, is one of Hull's best known historically significant buildings and has recently undergone a complete refurbishment.
This elegant Victorian building which was visited by Queen Victoria in 1854, was nearly destroyed by a fire which swept through the interior of the building in 1991. The hotel was completely rebuilt and to mark the 10th anniversary of the re-opening has recently undergone a complete refurbishment.
A new colour scheme has been introduced for the hotel's 155 bedrooms; neutral walls contrast with the bold carpets and curtains in shades of russet and blue. The bathrooms have also been revamped to include power showers and simple clean colour schemes to create a modern minimalist feel.
The magnificent lounge, bar and reception areas with their high ceilings and pillars have been restored to reflect the splendour of the Victorian era and the restaurant has been redesigned to reflect a contemporary international style.
The leisure club area opened on the 8th September and includes air conditioning and new equipment as well as the existing refurbished pool, sauna and steam room.
The Royal Carver Restaurant offers a tempting selection of food, both from the A La Carte menu and the Carvery selection. The spacious lounge bar, with its wide choice of fine ales and Continental coffees, is the perfect place to relax.
