Built over 700 years ago, Dalhousie Castle has withstood the changing fortunes of Scotland's tumultuous history. Sir Walter Scott, Oliver Cromwell and Queen Victoria have entertained within it's walls. The castle has recently undergone major refurbishment and is now a prestigeous hotel and conference venue. All 29 bedrooms are en-suite and ten historically themed rooms are individually styled with period furniture. The new 'De Ramseia' suite also houses the castle's original well in the sitting room! Five conference/function rooms can accommodate up to 120 delegates (theatre style) and the estate grounds provide the perfect setting for outdoor activites.The are also five additional bedrooms available in the nearby lodge.
