Established by the Pilgrim Fathers in 1540, the Hotel is in a perfect location for exploring this beautiful region. With all the luxury of our hotel and the beauiful location, your stay with us could not be more relaxing.

From the moment you enter the Tudor House Hotel, you take a step back in time. Steeped in history, there is much to discover in this ancient building: a chimney in the Mayor's Parlour conceals a priest's hole and axe marks reputedly made by Cromwell's soldiers can be seen on the old oak door leading to the secret garden.

The hotel provides 20 delightful bedrooms, all with a private bathroom. If you wish for quiet seclusion, we can offer you one of our riverside rooms in the gazebo.

For that special occasion we have two very special rooms: The Adam Suite with its magnificent bay window and four poster bed, and The Gazebo Suite, a spacious and elegant room by the river.

The hotel boasts an excellent location for business meetings for up to 20 delegates, or functions for up to 40 people.
