Two luxury warm stone cottages, set in two acres of natural woodland heather garden with superb views of the attractive South Pennines, and direct access to open countryside and footpaths. Pets and children are welcome. Children will find the whole garden adventurous, with rope swings and rocks to climb. There is direct access from both cottages to the large two acre garden, with pond, trees and heather banks. Both cottages have an ETC Highly Commended 4 Star grading. From the doorstep, there is a wide variety of local footpaths and bridleways to explore, including the Calderdale Way long distance path, which passes close by. As we are keen walkers and cyclists ourselves, we are happy to offer advice on the most interesting moorland and footpath walking, and cycle routes using quiet country lanes.
